UPLB employees who are currently enrolled in academic programs offered by UPLB and wish to avail of the Privilege to Study at Reduced Fees (RF) shall submit their applications via the Study Privilege Application System (SPAS) online platform at https://spas.uplb.edu.ph.  SPAS shall be accessible from Wednesday, 04 June 2025 until Wednesday, 18 June 2025 for this purpose.

On the other hand, UPLB employees who are pursuing their studies at institutions outside of UPLB and are availing of RF, as well as UPLB employees applying for Tuition Fee Exemption (TFE) and educational benefits under the Local Government Code of 1991, shall process their applications using the old procedure. In these cases, applicants are required to send a scanned copy of their application form along with supporting documents directly via email to the designated office. 

All applications must have been submitted to the UPLB Human Resources and Development Office (HRDO) on or before 18 June 2025 for the application to be accepted for further processing by the relevant administrative offices.  Please be advised that this deadline for submission of applications will be strictly implemented to facilitate the timely tagging of the Academic Management Information System (AMIS) accounts of students with approved applications and avoid unnecessary delays in the students’ registration for the Midyear 2025.
